The members of the Choral Union live in towns all over Southern Illinois, and come from all walks of life:
Community members of all ages and backgrounds, including local professionals and retirees- SIU School of Music students participating for ensemble credit
- Non-music students seeking to continue singing for the pleasure and joy of it
Performances are accompanied by a variety of groups , from full orchestra to wind ensemble to SIU School of Music faculty members.
